In the first quarter of 2025, the top social apps on the Android platform in Russia demonstrated varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users for the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Likee - Short Video Community experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 318K and ending the quarter around 229K. Active user numbers showed some volatility, peaking at nearly 14.7M mid-January before stabilizing at about 13.4M by the end of March.

TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE maintained a consistent download rate, beginning the quarter with 307K downloads and closing at 205K. The app's active users remained robust, hovering around 23M throughout the quarter.

TikTok Lite - Save Data & Fast saw a decline in downloads from 270K to 153K over the quarter. Active users initially increased, reaching over 4.3M in mid-January, but settled at approximately 3.8M by the end of March.
